MILK: Hollywood, CA

I scream, You scream, Ice Cream...or something like that. Los Angeles has a plethora of ice cream shops, so why try just one? Our first destination was this cute Ice Cream shop on the corner of Beverly Blvd. and N Poinsettia Pl. I was already excited just walking up to it- I mean, who wouldn't love a giant milk carton sign?? As we stepped inside, there were ice cream cakes to our left and a room of full happy ice cream eaters to our right.

If you're looking for a little bit of everything to do with sweets - this is definitely the destination for you. They have milkshakes, homemade ice cream, and even espresso to compliment your savory treat.  You have free reign to customize your ice cream desires however you like, so go crazy!

I typically gravitate towards things that are visually appealing, so when I spotted this rainbow macaroon ice cream sandwich, I had to have it. It had crushed fruit loops on half of it with fruit loop flavored ice cream on the inside.  I have never had anything like it and was far from disappointed with this treasure.

The fun part of grabbing ice cream is grabbing it with your besties! Cameron (@0nenightsworth) got a Jasmine Milk Tea flavored macaroon sandwich and Gaby (@gabygabbers) got a scoop of their Peanut Butter Cup Ice cream (mine was still the tastiest out of the bunch).

Oh you thought they just carried ice cream? You thought wrong! Around the ice cream counter was a glass case filled with everything from cupcakes to Tres Leches Cake. My mouth is watering just looking at them!

Overall, my experience at Milk was one of my favorites to say the least.  The ice cream was tasty and the service was great.  Luckily, this destination is only ten minutes from my apartment, so I may or may not be taking frequent trips here. :)
